HARDWIRED

For crane, hauling, excavation and trade businesses with a fleet

Your company's answers, by app or phone.

Ask Tabitha who owes you money, have a permit emailed to you from the job site, or see what needs attention today. She answers from your own records — with the invoice, the permit or the bank line behind every answer. Less digging through apps, fewer calls back to the office.

CA$9,500 setup + CA$350/month, plus tax. Calling Tabitha by phone is a $50/month add-on. Scope agreed in writing before we start · set up remotely · no sales call needed.

Built inside a Nova Scotia family transport business. Customer emails always wait for your OK.

Dramatization — fictional company and figures.

Ask it what you'd ask the office.

Type it in the app or say it on the phone. Three things owners use it for every week:

Who still owes us money?

Names, amounts and how late — checked against the bank, so someone who already paid doesn't get chased. Ask for a reminder and it's drafted for your OK.

Who owes what and how late, with the invoices
Email me the annual permit for the Grove 120.

Permits, insurance slips, registrations, supplier bills, past invoices — found and sent to your own email while you're still on site.

An answer with the document opened beside it
What needs attention today?

Paperwork about to expire, invoices gone overdue, important new emails, work that never made it onto an invoice — on the home screen, and by text to the phones you choose.

The home screen: what needs attention, the Monday brief, the watched inbox
Watch: Open the demo

The demo is a fictional crane company with made-up records. Sign in as the owner with PIN 2468.

In the app, or just call.

Same answers either way. Use whichever is easier where you are.

In the app

On the office computer and every phone. Type it the way you'd say it.

  • Ask in plain words and get the answer with the document behind it.
  • Look through it yourself — money, trucks, permits, jobs, the inbox — when you'd rather browse.
  • Each person has their own PIN and sees what the owner decides.

By phone

Your company gets its own private number for Tabitha. Call from an approved phone, say your 4-digit PIN, and ask out loud.

  • “Who still owes us money?” — answered in a few seconds, in plain words.
  • “Email me a copy of…” — goes straight to your own email.
  • “Draft them a reminder.” — it pops up on the owner's phone. Nothing goes to a customer until you tap Send.
  • Texts when something needs you — an important email, an invoice gone overdue, the Monday brief.

Hands-free for the truck. Only approved phones get answers, and five wrong PINs locks that phone for the day. The phone line is a $50/month add-on, calls and texts included for normal company use.

Built on what you already use.

Hardwired reads the records your company already keeps. You keep using your tools exactly as you do now — nothing new for the crew to fill in. We confirm which of yours we can connect before you pay anything.

You stay in control.

Customer emails wait for you

Tabitha drafts; only the owner's login sends. Documents someone asks for go only to their own email on file.

Every answer shows its source

The invoice, the bank line, the permit — opened beside the answer, so anyone can check it.

It says when it doesn't know

If a record is missing or out of date, it tells you instead of guessing.

Each person sees what you decide

Their own PIN in the app, approved phones on the line. You choose who sees money, wages and margins.

Built by someone who had the problem.

Hardwired was built inside the founder's own family business — a heavy-haul company in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, moving modular buildings with four trucks and hydraulic floats.

The owners aren't computer people. They open it every morning to see what's owed, what's expiring and what came in overnight — and the owner calls Tabitha from the truck. Every feature started as a question someone in that office was tired of answering.

Caught along the way at that first install

  • $8,357of recorded work with no matching invoice, flagged for the office to check — the first time it read the books
  • $5,368of billing mistakes caught before the customer saw them
  • 21 dayswhere the GPS saw a truck working and nothing was logged, each listed with the date and kilometres

Separate findings at the founder's family company — not added together, and not a promise of what yours will find.

One price. No surprises.

No per-user fees, no meter running while we set it up. You know the whole cost before we start.

No sales call unless you ask for one. No newsletter. How we handle what you send.

Questions owners ask

Does it replace our accounting or dispatch software?

No. It reads what those already hold and puts the answers in one place. You keep using your tools the same way.

Will it ever email our customers on its own?

No. Tabitha can draft an email to a customer, but it waits in Approvals until the owner reads it and taps Send. The only thing that goes out without that tap is a copy someone asks for, sent to their own email address on file.

What if the answer is wrong?

Every answer shows the record it came from — the invoice, the bank line, the permit — so your office can check it in a second. If something is missing or out of date, it says so instead of guessing.

What do we need to have?

Company email, and invoices in software or as PDFs. Bank statements, a GPS tracker and permit accounts make it more useful. Tell us what you use in the form and we'll confirm what we can connect before you pay anything.

How does setup work, and how long does it take?

2–3 weeks, done remotely. We agree the scope in writing first, then connect your accounts with you, load your trucks, crew, customers and rate card, and set the alerts your office actually wants. Nothing to install on anyone's computer.

What does the phone line cost?

$50 a month on top of the care plan: your own private number for Tabitha, plus calls and texts for normal company use. You can add it at setup or any time after.

Can we try it first?

Watch the short films above, open the demo (a fictional crane company — owner PIN 2468), or tick “live demo” in the form and we'll show you on a 20-minute screen share.

Who's behind it?

Ostinato, in Nova Scotia. Hardwired was built inside the founder's family transport business and is set up for each company separately.
